The SF Underground Beyblade League

The Underground Beyblade League is a one-night-only extravaganza of “illegally” modded Beyblade battles. This includes modification of Beyblade parts (energy layer, fusion wheel, performance tip) AND modification of Beylaunchers to enhance its battling performance.
The Beystadium will be the TOMY Beyblade Burst B-33.
Underground Beyblade League Rules:
- You SHOULD talk about the Underground Beyblade League.
- One Bey per Blader. Live and die by your blade.
- Your Beyblade must have some form of stop mechanism (ie. it can topple).
- Your Beyblade must be made up of at least 10% of ‘original’ Beyblade parts.
- Only two Beyblades in the Beystadium at any given time. Both beyblades must fit in the stadium and leave adequate room for each other to spin. The Bey cannot cause significant damage to the Beystadium. Judge discretion.
- One battle at a time.
Added rules (July 2, 2024) after watching one too many Battle Bot videos:
- Weight limit set at 0.420lbs (~190.51g).
- HAND Riplaunchers only. No external sources of power on the Riplauncher or onboard the Beyblade. Beys deemed too dangerous (it’s a high bar) will not be allowed to compete.
Clarification: You lose when your Bey stops spinning or when your Bey gets knocked out of the Beystadium.
The tournament structure is BO5 double elimination. There is no cost to enter and there are no cash prizes.
The winner of the Underground Beyblade League will receive an Underground Beyblade League trophy.
Check-in opens at 7:00PM and closes at 7:45PM. Bracket starts at 8:00PM.
The Underground Beyblade League is not a real entity. We simply communicate a time and place for Bladers. We are not responsible for any broken blades or bones.
